Getting Started

Are you accepting new clients?

Yes, we are! Please get in touch to book an initial call or assessment.

Do I need a referral?

No, a doctor's referral is not required to access our services.

Important note on insurance: While we do not require a referral, your insurance provider might require one for reimbursement. We recommend contacting your insurance company directly to confirm exactly what is needed for coverage under your plan.

What can I expect from the free 15-minute consultation?

We will speak with you on a virtual call, with an email follow-up, and answer any questions or concerns you may have. We will explain how services work and whether further testing or therapy is recommended. We can also start completing paperwork to get the process started.

Fees, Insurance & Funding

What are your fees?

Our rates are based on the type and length of your appointment.

Please note: any required written reports or letters of recommendation are not included in the session fee and are billed separately.

Do you offer direct billing?

No, direct billing is not available at this time.

What are your payment options?

Payment is due at the end of each session. We accept:

  • E-transfer
  • Cheque
  • Cash
Do you provide receipts?

An official receipt will be provided upon receipt of payment. Private speech and language services are covered by most group insurance plans and can be submitted to your insurance provider for reimbursement. Please contact your insurance provider to determine coverage specific to your plan. The client/caregiver is solely responsible for submitting all claims to their insurance company.

Cancellation Policy

What is your cancellation policy?

A minimum of 24 hours' notice is required to cancel a session.

  • A full session fee will be charged for any no-show appointments (for example, you do not show up to your session or do not answer your door at the time of your scheduled appointment).
  • Cancellations with less than 24 hours' notice will be charged 50% of the therapy fee. This fee may be waived in cases of an emergency or inclement weather.
