Speech and language services

Assessment and therapy tailored to each child's strengths, needs, and everyday routines — in your home or online.

How services work

Assessment

An assessment helps us understand your child's strengths and areas of need, and plan the next steps together.

  • Review of concerns and family history
  • Observations and play-based tasks
  • Formal or informal assessment
  • Parent/caregiver discussion
  • Recommendations
  • Written report, if needed (additional fee)

Therapy sessions

Sessions are built around your child's goals and interests.

  • Sessions are 30 or 45 minutes
  • In your home or virtual
  • Always child-led and play-based
  • Parents are always involved
  • Home practice is an important part of working toward goals

Virtual speech therapy

Virtual therapy is best for children who can sit in front of the computer for at least 30 minutes, or for parents who want consultation and parent-coaching sessions.
